Dr Michael Fullilove AM is the Executive Director of the Lowy Institute. A Rhodes Scholar, Boyer Lecturer, and former prime ministerial adviser, Dr Fullilove writes on Australian and US foreign policy in publications including The New York Times, Financial Times and Foreign Affairs. His books include Rendezvous with Destiny: How Franklin D. Roosevelt and Five Extraordinary Men Took America into the War and into the World, which won the NSW Premier’s Literary Award for Non-Fiction. His forthcoming book is on President John F. Kennedy and his speechwriter and confidant Ted Sorensen.
