Southeast Asia’s security choices
National Press Club | CANBERRA
TUESDAY 28 OCTOBER | 6:00 PM - 7:15 PM AEST
Please join us in Canberra for a discussion on Southeast Asia’s evolving defence and security partnerships. How durable are US security ties with Southeast Asian countries? What security role might China and Russia play in the region in future? And how are Southeast Asian countries looking to others, like Australia, Japan and India?
This event will launch the Lowy Institute’s new Southeast Asia Influence Index and feature a discussion between Lindsey W. Ford, Hoang Thi Ha, and the Lowy Institute’s Southeast Asia Program Director Susannah Patton, moderated by International Security Program Director Sam Roggeveen.
Refreshments will be served.
