The Lowy Institute is delighted to invite you to an address by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence, the Hon Richard Marles MP.
The Deputy Prime Minister will speak on the 2026 Australian National Defence Strategy and Integrated Investment Program, AUKUS, and the government’s broader defence agenda. After his remarks, the Lowy Institute's Research Director, Mihai Sora, will chair a Q&A session with the Deputy Prime Minister.
The Hon Richard Marles MP is the Deputy Prime Minister of Australia, Minister for Defence, and the Federal Member for Corio. Mr Marles was first elected to the House of Representatives for Corio, Victoria in 2007.
