The Lowy Institute is delighted to invite you to an address by the Minister for Trade and Tourism, Senator the Hon Don Farrell.
The Minister will speak on the government’s trade agenda, recent EU–Australia trade discussions, and how Australia can navigate an increasingly turbulent international trade landscape.
After his remarks, the Lowy Institute's Executive Director Dr Michael Fullilove AM will chair a Q&A session with the Minister.

ABOUT THE SPEAKERS:

Senator the Hon Don Farrell is the Minister for Trade and Tourism, Special Minister of State, and Deputy Leader of the Government in the Senate. First elected to the Senate in 2008, he served as Minister for Science and Research, Minister for Sport, Minister Assisting on Tourism, and Parliamentary Secretary for Sustainability and Urban Water.

Dr Michael Fullilove AM is the Executive Director of the Lowy Institute. He was previously an adviser to Australian Prime Minister Paul Keating and a lawyer. Dr Fullilove is the author of Rendezvous with Destiny: How Franklin D. Roosevelt and Five Extraordinary Men took America into the War and into the World. He is currently writing a book on President John F. Kennedy and his adviser Ted Sorensen.
